Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO Programme Educational Objective
PEO1 Technical Competence: Graduates will establish themselves as competent diploma engineers by applying fundamental engineering knowledge, practical skills and discipline-specific techniques in industry, government organizations and other professional environments.
PEO2 Employability & Professional Growth: Graduates will demonstrate professional competence, adaptability, problem-solving ability and effective communication to successfully pursue employment, entrepreneurship or higher education.
PEO3 Professionalism & Teamwork: Graduates will work effectively as individuals and as members or leaders of multidisciplinary teams with professional ethics, responsibility and respect for society.

PO3 Design/Development of Solutions: Design or assist in developing solutions for well-defined technical problems and contribute to the design of systems, components or processes to meet specified requirements.
PO4 Engineering Tools, Experimentation & Testing: Apply appropriate engineering tools, techniques, laboratory practices and modern technologies to conduct experiments, measurements, testing and analysis.
PO5 Engineering Practices for Society, Sustainability & Environment: Apply appropriate engineering practices while considering societal, health, safety, legal, ethical, cultural and environmental issues and the principles of sustainable development.
